Vibe Coding – Programming without code?

In today’s lunch break, we’re discussing a new buzzword from the AI world: Vibe Coding. Buschi explains what it entails – programming with feelings instead of code. Sounds absurd? Perhaps a little. But the term comes from no less than a former OpenAI developer.
Buschi talks about his own skepticism, why this new paradigm might not be suitable for every developer – and recounts a story about a no-code colleague who built a SaaS overnight using only the cursor and prompts… and then was brought back down to earth by reality.
A podcast episode filled with wonder, amusement, and plenty of “Yes, but…”.
The AI Canteen is a project by Michael Busch - developer, entrepreneur, and curious canteen philosopher.
Join us regularly during lunch break for discussions about Artificial Intelligence in real developer life - understandable, practical, and with a pinch of skepticism.
New episodes are released regularly - usually just when you're grabbing a tray.
