Speed limit for Senior Developer? Why AI won't make everyone faster

In this episode of the KI Kantine, Buschi wonders why he is sometimes slower with AI than without. The trigger is a recent study showing: experienced developers lose an average of 19% efficiency when using AI – even though they think they are faster. Junior developers see things differently: they benefit significantly and work up to 40% more productively with AI. Buschi shares his own experiences between Vibe Coding, control compulsion, and code frustration – and wonders if AI is more of a turbo or a speed limit for him.
