Alle Modelle gleich? Warum Tools jetzt wichtiger sind als KI-Benchmarks
In this episode of the KI Kantine, I talk about why we can hardly tell the individual AI models apart anymore – and why that’s suddenly not a problem at all. The models are converging, the tools are diverging: updates deliver only minimal benchmark improvements, but development environments like Cursor or Google’s Antigravity are making the real leap in productivity.
We talk about how AI is increasingly functioning like electricity: The user no longer asks where it comes from, but whether the toaster works. The specific model will become just as irrelevant as long as the workflow is right. The real bottleneck is now the interface. Chat-based prompting uses only a fraction of what modern models could do. New interfaces that navigate, plan and proactively make suggestions will therefore be decisive for the next stage of evolution.
The KI-Kantine is a project by Michael Busch – developer, entrepreneur and curious Kantinenphilosoph.
